Log line: A daughter is taken, her father and sister have to travel through the forest to find the Root Kings and get her back.

Synopsis: Tarn and his two daughters, Elowen and Sylvan, travel a woodland world. Their lives are simple and peaceful, living amongst the trees through the seasons.

They chase meteor showers, collecting the shards that land in the forest so that the metal can be fashioned into tools and weapons.

Going from camp to camp, they hunt and collect food along the way until one day Sylvan is swallowed up by the roots of an ancient tree and kidnapped by the Root Kings. Tarn and Elowen must find the Root Kings in the fabled long barrow.

Following their only lead they head off on the long road to find the Root Kings and get Sylvan back, but it isn’t as easy as they first think.
