Log line: To save his brother, a haunted soldier is forced to team up with a ruthless intelligence officer and infiltrate an elusive team of ex-commandos who have turned murderous thieves hell-bent on making the government ‘pay’ for its disloyalty.

Synopsis: Living off-grid, Ash Winter dedicates what little resources he has to helping veterans of the armed forces deal with trauma and PTSD. Battling his own demons, Ash is haunted by the death of one of his comrades whilst fighting in Afghanistan – a death he was responsible for.

When arrested by ruthless intelligence agent, Sophie Dascombe, on suspicion of armed robbery, Ash discovers that his brother is missing and somehow involved. 

The trail leads to a lethal group of ex-servicemen living rough on the streets as a cover for their string of heists – stealing gold bullion they believe is owed to them by the UK Government for their military service.

As Ash infiltrates the close-knit crew, his loyalty, nerve and grip on reality are pushed to the extreme as he is forced to battle the authorities, the robbers and the lure of his old way-of-life to rescue his brother and come out alive.
